Coeur d"Alene is such a beautiful place

It's hard to believe we only have 10 more days here in the beautiful state of  Idaho!! It's been a wonderful stay and we have met some really great people and made new friends.If your ever in Idaho make time to visit Coeur d'Alene it's a beautiful town!!

Wild Turkey's on road to Mica Basin

Lots of wild turkey's running around on the road in Mica Basin,they seem to love the wet weather we have been having the last week or so.You can see any where between 8 to 15 of them at a time most days.3 jumped into the shrubs but these 2 just strolled along until we got closer and then finally followed suit and disappeared with the rest!

Hubby at Dentist

Poor Jess thought he could make it to Texas without going to the Dentist.......not!! The pain got the best of him. So I told them to give him the laughing gas and get with it! He ended up with 26 shots and eight teeth pulled.He was fitted with his lower false teeth and we were on our way in less than 1hr. and a half. The worst is over and all Jess can talk about is having a big ole STEAK!!  I guess he earned that one!

Opening day of rifle season

Well today the hunter's started rolling in at 4am and looks like a busy day ahead.The weather is cool and some rain coming this afternoon so should be good for hunting.
Fish and Game just came through to patrol the area and make sure everything is legit and will probably be here most of the day.
The hubby and I have been up since 4am with coffee in hand and waiting for the fun to begin!!Looks like it's going to be a busy day!! Hope the hunter's have some luck and stay safe out there. We'll see what the day brings.

Beautiful sunset in Mica Basin

Wow after the rain makes for a beautiful sunset!! I'm sure we'll see many more here in the Mica Basin as we have more rain on it's way Monday and Tuesday.
