Getting ready for next adventure

Work,,,,work....work!! Just about ready for our next move.Packed up chairs,BBQ,took down flag,carpets rolled up and only have one table to pack and roll in awning on Sunday.Oh and the satelite dish Sat. evening,guess we'll watch a movie or listen to the radio.The next thing on the list will be for Jess to check tire pressure and change oil in generator.I 'll clean windows and vaccum the truck.Wow not that much to do and we'll be ready!! Texas here we come!!

1st Bull Elk taken in rifle season at Mica Basin

A nice bull elk was bagged at 7am this morn.He was a 5x5 and Jeffery's first time ever to hunt this area. Had to call his wife to come help him and took quite a few hours to get it loaded and brought down the mountain.My husband told him about our friend who does meat processing and they took it over which is close by.Guess we'll be getting some more steaks by the end of the week!!It's been a dry season for rifle so it was nice to see someone get one.

Doe came to feed

Nice looking doe came to feed right in front of our trailer this evening.Usually we have 3or 4 and sometimes a fawn with them.They like to drink from the creek afterwards.Nice to see all the wildlife out here,sure going to miss it when we leave.

Nice little white tail buck

Driving home we saw a nice looking buck cruising the field with a doe and a whole bunch of wild turkey's.We have doe's come right by our window most evening's sometimes with a fawn to feed  and drink from the creek.Nice views we have out here at Mica Basin!!

Our little rving companion

This is our little princess Miss Bella. She is a great traveling companion and loves to ride,she has her own bed and blanket and mostly just sleeps.She always barks at dirt bikes and 4-wheelers but doesn't seem to mind the sound of a Harley,girls got class!! She is very spoiled and very loved!!
